Hiya everyone!
We are back in Germany and I am finally getting over my jetlag (maaaan, the sleepies for several days ... NOT useful at work *shakes head and grins*). Thus, I now finally get around to posting my thank yous!

It was an AWESOME con! We had *so* much fun, and I can't thank the concomm enough for inviting us! Special mention from my side goes to Alan and Chris O for helping with hotelstuff - thanks so much! Also, Dr. James, John O and Chris O for just being super sweet to us at the con, we felt very loved :)) And, the wonderful consuite people whose name I have forgotten *hangs head in shame*! I am sorry that I never made it back to the consuite to play there ... things got a tad bit busy after Friday.
And thank you for everyone who came to our concert and listened and cheered for us - you guys were a FAB audience! I felt extremely flattered. Also - Kristoph and sound crew, hats off, you made us sound so good! Monitor speakers are my friend now :)

Which brings me to another point ... since yours truly had (stuuuupid!!!) forgotten to pack any CDs, we only had very few for sale at the con. Dr. James told me that several people had approached him and asked whether our music would be available via the Creaseys or elsewhere, and I said I'd work something out.
I have. Our CDs are now available for download sales at our brand new bandcamp.com site. (Put together in a bit of a rush, so it will be fleshed out with more comments, texts etc. in the future).
So, if you were/are interested in buying our music, you can now go to: jukaty.bandcamp.com !
If you wanted to buy from us at the con and were too late cuz we had already sold out, drop me a message here on LJ and I send you a discount code :)
The CDs are a little cheaper at bandcamp.com since it is download only (but if you download the whole album, you get the booklet as a pdf included). If you want a physical product, unfortunately, I can't offer you anything right now, but please also let me know so we know whether it is desired that I work something out with local filk dealers. (The tricky bit really is the shipment hassle from Europe to the US ...)

Please feel free to tell your friends about it, too, if you liked what you heard at the con ;-)

Thanks again for everything :) We hope to be back at some point - you west coast folks rock! (Well, all you other folks, too *smile* ... but since this post was initially posted to Consonance attendees... *g*)
I am hoping to get a con report done this weekend. Yeah, the people who know me will not hold their breath *g* ... but I will try!!!!! (add more exclamation marks if you want :))

I finally, finally, finally can say that I have my dream balcony :))
Found a good balcony table today (20% off!!!), and since my neighbour, who I was shopping with, has a car, we also grabbed several new plants, some garden pottery and two pillows for the balcony chairs.

Together with the wood tiles we bought at IKEA a while ago, it looks really really good now. Me is a happy camper. Some piccies on my Flickr set ;-)

That is all for now. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Happy New Year

Hi all ... just a quick note - we aren't dead :) We were just veeery busy, had visitors which was lovely (waves to magiclad2007 and thatknittygirl), had way too much food (but it was yummy), had prezzies (I got a CAMERA ... my very own cute little camera, a Casio Exilim Z-200 in red *love*, and now I post experimental pics to flickr all the time ... especially in sepia and b/w *laugh*), and now we're back at work and have to try to get back to that "normal everyday life" feeling.
I hope your transition into the new year was a good one.
Take care, you all!
Katy
